In diesem Modul führen die Studierenden ein Projekt basierend auf den Ergebnissen des Junior Levels zielgerichtet fort und durchlaufen mehrere Phasen des Produktentstehungsprozesses.

Nach erfolgreichem Abschluss des Moduls können die Studierenden
 

• in interdisziplinären Projektteams unterschiedliche Rollen übernehmen, einschließlich der Verantwortung als Projektleitung.
• ihre fachliche Expertise vertiefen und im Projektkontext weiterentwickeln.
• die Zusammenarbeit mit Industriepartnern gestalten und die Beziehung zwischen Auftraggebern und Auftragnehmern reflektieren.
• ökologische und ökonomische Aspekte in der Projektarbeit berücksichtigen.
• Diversität in Projektteams wahrnehmen, deren Einfluss auf die Zusammenarbeit analysieren und konstruktiv einbeziehen.

Semester-Projekt, welches von einem Industriepartner oder dem jeweiligen Dozenten angeboten wird.

2 SWS Projekt

• Grundlagen des Produktentstehungsprozesses (PEP)
• Grundlagen Projektmanagement
• Bearbeitung eines eigenen Projektes im Kundenauftrag
• Wöchentliche Regelmeetings (Jour fixe) zur Präsentation des Projektfortschrittes; An bestimmten Meilensteinen wird ebenfalls der Projektpartner teilnehmen
• Optional: Industrie-Exkursion zum Projektpartner

Practical project – Senior Level

The practical project - senior level is the continuation of the project from the previous semester.

Since this is an elective module, there may be a completely new project team that has to continue the project in a targeted manner based on the results of the junior level.

It should offer interested students the opportunity to take on the role of project manager, for example, to develop skills, especially in this area. Other students should also be offered the opportunity to further develop their professional skills by continuing the project from the junior level and thereby going through several phases of the product development process.

As with the practical project - Junior Level, corresponding industrial partners are also involved in the Senior Level, who are also the clients of the projects. This type of project is intended to give students direct insights into everyday industrial life and, above all, to focus on the client-recipient relationship. Continuing with the junior level, ecological and economic aspects are also examined here, and the topic of diversity is considered through collaboration in the project.

The covered key topics are:

• Fundamentals of the product development process (PDP)
• Fundamentals of project management
• Working on your own project on behalf of a client
• Weekly regular meetings (jour fixe) to present the progress of the project; the project partner will also participate at certain milestones
• Optional: Industry excursion to the project partner
